Prediction: All the Worlds Climate Zones Will Be Gone
Here is a lovely hysterical news item... AFP has published a story claiming that all of the Earth's "climate zones" will be gone by 2100 if we don't do anything about GLOBAL WARMING right now. Interesting that they do continue in a secondary line of reasoning: "or [climate zones] will be replaced by new, previously unseen ones." As usual, an unnamed "study" proves it.
But GONE. They're saying, in a frightful manner - GONE! Like... it will be replaced by a hard vacuum, or fierce radiation, or by clouds of rat feces? What what the hell does this mean exactly? Hook, line, and sinker... the reader is hooked and now afraid. Sinking fast.
Science is now consensus. Right answers are whatever boosts your self esteem. Three plus four equal nine if you want it to. It's here folks... after a generation of outcome based education we finally have our results. Politicians, scientists, lawyers, students, children all deciding that consensus IS science and you can forget "scientific method" (duh, what's that anyway?).
Back to the study however. The study claims that higher temperatures at the equator will push current temperate zones north and upwards... effectively pinching off current zones. As usual, these studies don't stop with a climactic prediction, they always go the extra step of predicting how this will HURT US and KILL US and DESTROY DIVERSITY (yes, they actually said this).
"Our findings are a logical outcome of global warming scenarios that are driven by continued emissions of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases," said Jack Williams, a professor of geography at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and author of the paper.
LOGICAL? Bwaahhhahahah. Logic my rear-end. Fear mongering and bad science is more appropriate.
Williams continues to state (and HERE is the CLINCHER) that their data was taken from the the report issued by the United Nations's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) in February.
Dr. Williams... why why why would you do something so foolish. Unless of course... you are a cheerleader for Al Gore, or perhaps a buddy, or business partner?
