Truth Out - Dr. James Hansen, Primary Science Advisor to Al Gore
Dr. James Hansen... claiming he has been muzzled by George Bush, has been allowed to give 1,400 ON-THE-JOB interviews to the main stream media in just the last few years.
James Hansen, who is currently the director of NASA's Goddard Institute for Space Studies as appointed by Al Gore, argues that global warming will kill us all in ten years. Further, he claims President Bush has denied his request to do a National Public Radio (NPR) interview because they didn't want his message to get out.
In looking into this allegation, Rep. Darrell Issa, California, is stumped with the accusation and has stated, "We have over 1,400 opportunities that you've availed yourself to [mass media], and yet you call it, you know, being stifled," said Rep. Darrell Issa, California Republican.
Further investigations have revealed that Dr. Hansen is the senior adviser to Mr. "I invented the internet" Gore and was a primary consulted on Mr. Gore's hysterical global warming film, "An Inconvenient Truth."
