It emerged last week that the Himalayan Glacier Melt forecast was based not on a consensus among climate change experts, but on a media interview with a single Indian glaciologist in 1999. That's it. And the media and Al Gore ran with it... Turns out the whole study was flawed. It was all WRONG and the IPCC finally withdrew it's panicky claims of "glacier death"! Dr. Rajendra Pachauri dismissed calls for him to resign over the Inter-governmental Panel on Climate Change’s retraction of this prediction that Himalayan glaciers could disappear by 2035. It was all bad science. Yet again! But you gotta give them credit for the retraction at least. No... maybe not any credit at all; that's too generous.
