Dr. Claude Allegre, a highly decorated geophysicist, has stepped forward and stated that he no longer believes that "global warming" is occurring. He stated: "studies show that Antarctic snowfall rate has been stable over the past 30 years and the continent is actually gaining ice." This is in contrast to the hysterical global warming alarmists (99.9% who are NOT scientists) who believe that the ice caps are melting.

Allegre is a member of both the French and U.S. Academy of Sciences and has written more than 100 scientific articles, 11 books and been awarded numerous scientific kudos including the Goldschmidt Medal from the Geochemical Society of the United States.

Interestingly, twenty years ago Allegre wrote: "By burning fossil fuels, man enhanced the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere which has raised the global mean temperature by half a degree in the last century."

Allegre now states that those "conclusions" were wrong, scientific evidence now indicates otherwise.
